Backup and transfer files from your Vita
The Content Manager Assistant for Playstation Vita allows you to transfer files between your Mac and Vita.
As soon as you connect a Vita to your Mac, the Content Manager Assistant will start. Right clicking the neat icon in your menu bar will allow you open settings. Here you can specify which folders the Vita will access, although you can't change anything while a Vita is connected
You can use the Content Manager Assistant to backup your saved games and application data, as well as any photos or videos you have on your Vita. You can also transfer media files to you Vita from your Mac.
The Content Manager Assistant is functional, but not incredibly user friendly. It would be improved if there were more options on the Windows app itself - more like the relationship between iTunes and iOS devices. If you have a Vita, the Content Manager Assistant is an essential driver, but it's not an outstanding piece of software.

Unlikely to be helpful in any way..
I am afraid that I am inclined to agree with the "piece of junk" assessment. It provides an installation path and appears to be a real application, that is until you try to use it and there is no UI and no functionality, unless inducing apoplexy is considered a function. More

Piece of junk.
Tried this with the latest 1.80 Vita update on Mountain Lion. It can't even connect. CMA for Mac crashes constantly whenever the Vita attempts to connect, or whenever it feels like it.As usual from Sony, the software is a piece of junk and not worth the time to download.
Pros:
None
Cons:
Doesn't work in the slightest with latest Vita firmware and/or Mountain Lion More
